What you get back
Your refund is the amount the airline returns for your ticket, less any discount or coupon you used at booking and the FlyX cancellation fee. It is never more than you paid, minus the convenience fee.
How a flight refund is calculated at FlyX, what is not refundable, and when the money reaches you.
Your refund is the amount the airline returns for your ticket, less any discount or coupon you used at booking and the FlyX cancellation fee. It is never more than you paid, minus the convenience fee.
The convenience fee and payment gateway charges are non-refundable in every case, including when the airline cancels the flight. Add-ons the airline does not refund, such as some seats and meals, are also not refundable.
Rs 300 per passenger per sector on domestic flights and Rs 500 per passenger per sector on international flights, in addition to the airline charge. Infants are not charged. This fee is not charged when the airline cancels the flight.
On a non-refundable fare the airline keeps the base fare. Statutory taxes such as UDF, PSF and ADF are refunded as required by DGCA, after the adjustments above. Whether a fare is refundable is decided by the airline's fare rules for that fare, not by the Refundable or Non-refundable label in search results, which is a summary from the airline or its distribution system. When the fare rules say a ticket is non-refundable, we show that before you pay.
If the airline cancels your flight, the airline refund is passed on to you without the FlyX cancellation fee. The convenience fee, payment gateway charges and any discount used are still adjusted.
FlyX sends the refund after the airline or its ticketing partner returns the money to us. It goes to the same card, UPI or account you paid with, and your bank usually shows it within 5-7 working days after we send it.
