An e-Visa (Electronic Visa) is an official document issued by a government authority that permits entry into and travel within a country. It is linked electronically to your passport, removing the need for a physical stamp or sticker.
Generally, you will need a valid passport with at least 6 months validity, a recent passport-sized photograph, confirmed return flight tickets, and proof of hotel accommodation. Some countries may require bank statements or an invitation letter.
Processing times vary by destination. E-visas typically take between 2 to 5 business days, whereas paper/sticker visas processed via consulates can take 10 to 15 business days. We always recommend applying at least 2 weeks before your planned trip.
No, embassy and processing fees are non-refundable once the application has been submitted to the government authorities, regardless of the visa decision.
